Hello, my name is Kristin Carbone-Kebble and I am the ESS Director for Parker Unified School District. Prior to taking this position I was a school psychologist for the district. I have taught elementary school students including special education students with a variety of disabilities. I have a Master’s Degree in School Psychology with a Specialist Certificate in School Psychology from Capella University. I have a post-Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Phoenix. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the State University of New York (SUNY).
I was born in Seattle, Washington but was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I have three children, my oldest son is in college working towards a degree in education, my daughter is a senior in high school, and my youngest son is a sophomore in high school. When I am not busy I enjoy going to the gym, kayaking, running (I am actually becoming an avid runner), and traveling to new places.
I went into education not really knowing what I was getting into other than I was going to a place where people were energetic and happy every day. I have learned that it is possible to make a difference in student’s lives. Every day I come to work it is a new day and a chance to make student’s lives better. When all is said and done it is the lives you touched and changed that matter.
