Federal Projects
What is Title I?
Title I is a program funded by the federal government allowing school districts to provide many extra services to the classroom in the form of additional personnel, supplies, and professional development. The Title I program at Parker Unified School District is a vital part of Blake Primary, Le Pera Elementary, and Wallace Elementary schools. The program provides instructional aides in the classroom to work with students who may need additional instruction in reading, writing, or math.
Your Child and Title I - If your child has been selected to participate in the Title I program, he/she will work with an aide in a small group or individually within the classroom. Additional instruction in reading, writing, or math will be provided to your child to ensure success in the classroom. Please join us at the Title I open house to learn more about
the program.
