DENVER BUSINESS TRIP

 

 

 

Businesses often have their employees travel to various events for training, making presentations, or networking with potential clients.

This project involves you in the process of  going on a business trip to Denver.

 

 

WHO ARE YOU?
  • POSITION IN FIRM: SALES MANAGER
  • COMPANY'S NAME: CRITICAL THINKING or CT for short
  • COMPANY PRODUCTS:  MATERIALS (VIDEOS, POSTERS, ETC.) THAT HELP PEOPLE ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS AND BE SUCCESSFUL
  • PURPOSES OF TRIP: WINING/DINING “VIP” CLIENTAL (prospective customers willing to part with lots of money) and LEADERSHIP TRAINING
  • YOUR AGE = 27
  • TRAVELING AS A SINGLE ADULT
  • BUDGET = $1500 (NOT INCLUDING $500 BUDGET FOR PERSUADING CLIENTAL TO BUY FROM US)

You will have to:

  • Arrange for hotels, plane/flight information, car rentals, meals
  • Plan a night on the town to "wine and dine" potential clients
  • Determine tips for various service staff
  • Set up an itinerary and calendar/log calls, etc.
  • Place all supporting materials in an organized manner in a manila file folder
  • Live within a budget
  • Report business trip expenditures

This project meets several state competencies in business education i.e. financial planning and management, gathering information, organizing and presenting data, etc.
