• Teachers will have some knowledge of Howard Gardner and his theory of Multiple Intelligences
• Teachers will have an idea of what the multiple intelligence survey reveals.

Procedure:

• Introduce Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences.
• Discuss the concept of multiple intelligences as they relate to instructional technologies and student achievement.
• Discussion
• Teachers complete Mutliple Intelligence test from Walter McKenzie's book Multiple Intelligences and Instructional Technology.
• Teachers complete evaluation of session.

Summary of teachers response to this lesson:

Teachers responded favorably to this session. Many teachers indicated a desire to learn more about the topics. Several teachers had not heard of Howard Gardner's theory.
