	Early Release Days

Parker Unified School District provides opportunities for district wide staff development through scheduled Early Release Days. Every Friday of a full 5 day week staff members meet from 2:00 - 3:30 for various professional development activities. 

During the school year 2006-07, our district began a differentiated learning opportunity. Every teacher chooses from a wide variety of offered classes which meet for 5 times. During the 2nd semester of this school year, I offered a book talk on Walter McKenzie's book, Multiple Intelligences and Instructional Technology.
