Handbook passes are
mandatory to use the library or computer lab during the school day.
Library/computer lab is closed during lunch/Bronc
Time.
During other
class periods, the classroom teacher may issue the handbook pass but should call ahead to verify facility
availability.
General
Behavior Rules:
Follow directions
the first time given.
Respect the
rights and properties of others.
No food,
beverages, candy, or gum.
Minimize
talking; if you must talk, whisper.
Come to the
library to read or work quietly.
Computer/Internet Access:
Students are to
check in with the librarian before using a computer.
Students will
need to log on to the network by typing in their first
initial and last name and the last 4 digits school id #
Students may
access the Internet if all of the following criteria is met.
a. student has returned a signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
form b. a faculty member is supervising the Internet use c. the Internet is being used for a school-related
project (exception: during after-school lab some browsing may be allowed if
usage is acceptable according to the Acceptable Use
Policy.)
Computer
Behavior Rules:
No chat rooms
unless assigned and supervised by the classroom teacher
as a supplement to the learning activity.
No email unless
assigned and supervised by the classroom teacher as a
supplement to the learning activity.
No downloads -
unless approved by the technology department.
Do not change
any computer settings, i.e.: home page, screensaver,
wallpaper.
You must receive
permission to print anything that is not part of a
school assignment.
No food or
drink.
