Attendance/Skills/Competencies: 1800 pts  (approximately  53%)

bullet Daily Skills Acquisition and Practice: 

o        Each day is worth 20 points.

o        Each week is worth 100 points.

o        If we have only 3 days in a week,  I would add your total earned points and divide them by the number possible (60) to get a percent and that percent would be the amount of points you earned for the week.

o        Example:  45/60 = 75% or 75 points

Home/Class Work:  600 pts  (approximately 18%)

bullet 60 assignments @ 10 points each    600 pts

Extra Credit:

bullet 1 point for every 5 minutes of library work done on your own time (ie: before school, lunch, after school)  You must have Mrs. Leivas initial your time sheet whenever you come in for extra credit work and submit this time sheet at each grading period.
 
bullet You may do up to 2 additional Literature Reviews for 100 points each. 
 
bullet Research or other teacher approved project - up to 100 points.
