Q  What is a literary analysis?
A  A literary analysis is an analysis of a piece of literature.  For our class, it is an essay where you, the writer, discusses your opinion of one or more literary elements (plot, setting, characters, etc) from the novel you read.
Q  Can I choose to read a novel that I own?
A  Any novel must be approved by Mrs. Leivas.
Q  Can I work on other class work during library science class?
A  You may arrange to take personal time during library class, but you will lose points based on  how much time you used.  You may make up point with extra credit.
Q  Can I check my email in library class?
A  Mrs. Leivas frequently corresponds via email.  Therefore, you may check your email daily, but do not spend more than a few minutes on this activity.
Q  What should I do if the library is closed when I come to class?
A  If the library door is locked, go to the attendance office and check in.  If Mrs. Paterson doesn't need your help, you may go to another classroom, but you must have that teacher notify Mrs. Leivas.
Q  What if I don't understand how to do an assignment.
A  Please ask another student or Mrs. Leivas for help.
