complete this project by the due date.

- Memorialize the Japanese Internment camp
experience through a poem, drawing, short story, song, video or other
creative art.
- Read Weedflower.
- LIS Journals (individual)
- Use library resources (books,
EbscoHost,
Encarta, etc) to find and read related information
- Bibliography page.
- Digital photos and videos
- Group Literary Analysis
- Group Assignment: Rubrics.
- Group Concept Map.
- Group Thank You Letters.
- Group Timeline (use excel)
- Watch the DVD of original Poston Camp
footage (available at PHS Library through a loan from CRIT education)
- Extra Credit (10 points) Watch the movie,
Come See the Paradise with Dennis Quaid and
Tamlyn Tomita.
- Extra Credit (20 points or 10 pts per library) On your own time, visit CRIT and/or Parker Public Libraries to check out and use (for your PPT) additional research materials.
As a culmination of the above research and
activities, you will create a PowerPoint presentation to share with a class.
