Text Box: My name is Maryam Gary, the 18 year old daughter of Terilyn Gary. I have one brother, Jamil Gary, a freshman at PHS. As a senior, I have a lot of plans to make. Next year, I will major in Social and Behavioral Sciences either at the University of Arizona or Dana College. I may also have the opportunity to participate with the volleyball team at Dana College. I’m involved in many of the activities , sports, and clubs Parker High has to Text Box: offer. I’m a four year volleyball player and I recently took up track. I am the treasurer of the National Honor Society as well as the secretary/treasurer of the senior class. I am also a member of the Interact Club. Volunteering and giving back to the community is just a part of these clubs and I enjoy the responsibility. Even though they sometimes stress me out, these clubs and sports have made me into the person I am. I’ve become more Text Box: responsible and I work to be a more caring and respectful person everyday.
